What could you be doing on the day?

Course management – Supporting fellow runners on the course is a role like no other, you will be ensuring all runners follow the race route, assisting them with any issues they may have during the race, and also cheering them on every step of the way! In this role, it is YOUR smiley face which can change a runner’s race from a good run to a great run and yes… you will of course get a tambourine to shake all morning!

Finish Funnel assistant – On race day, you may be lucky enough to be right in the middle of the finish line buzz! As a finish line assistant you will have the job of giving all our amazing runners their one-of-a-kind event medals! You may also be in charge of handing out post race goodies!

Event village host – This means you could be the friendly face at the registration desk giving the runners their race numbers, organising and minding the baggage drop, or perhaps managing one of our many event stalls! Event village hosts are also involved in setting up and packing down the event village, interacting with runners and spectators and social media managing.

Rugby station is the closest train station to the start location, located 1.4 miles away, which would take roughly 28 minutes to walk.

PARKING

There are three paid car parks situated near the start location, including Small car park G.E.C and Parking for Whinfield Woods.
